Before the followers, before the brand — there was a teenager in a garage who refused to quit.
Maya Johnson is known to half a million people as a calm, confident voice on the internet. What almost no one knows is the decade of rejection, eviction notices and quiet doubt that came first. This film traces the line from a childhood spent moving between relatives to the moment she finally decided her story was worth telling.
